Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Khofi Tech collects, why, and the choices you have. It describes how this website actually works today. Last updated: 9 October 2026.

Information you give us

Reader accounts. When you create an account we store your email address, username and password (securely hashed). You can add optional profile details — name, phone numbers, location, address and picture. These stay private unless you choose to show them on your public author profile.
Signing in with Google. If you use “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name and email address with us so we can create or open your account.
Saved stories. Articles you bookmark and the collections you create are stored with your account so they sync across your devices.
Comments. When you comment, your name, email address, comment and IP address are stored. Your name and comment are shown publicly; your email is not.
Contact form. Messages you send are emailed to us. They are not stored on the website.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is sent to Mailchimp, which manages our mailing list. You can unsubscribe from any email.
AI Tool Finder. If you describe your needs in the AI assistant, that text is sent to our recommendation service, which uses an AI model to suggest tools. Please don’t include personal details.

Cookies and browser storage

Sign-in cookies keep you logged in.
A cookie remembers that you voted in an article poll so you only vote once.
Your browser stores your light/dark mode choice, currency and shopping-region choice, quiz high score, recent quiz questions and whether an article view was already counted. These stay on your device.

Analytics and third parties

We count article views to rank “Most read”. The count is a number per article and is not linked to you.
The theme does not add a separate analytics or tracking service. If we add one, we will update this page.
Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the Phone and Laptop Finders fetch exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API when you choose US dollars. These services receive standard technical data such as your IP address.
If advertising is enabled on the site, ad providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Links to retailers

Product links in our finders and articles go to retailers and manufacturers. We are not currently paid for these links (they are not affiliate links). If that changes, we will say so clearly next to the links and on this page.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your profile details at any time on your account page, unsubscribe from the newsletter, or contact us to ask for your account and data to be deleted.
